Accountability Highlights

Of the 37 districts in Region 9 Olney was one of three (8.1%) to obtain the “A” rating.

Of the 1023 non-charter public schools in Texas Olney ISD was one of 121 districts (12.8%) to obtain the “A” rating.

Olney ISD was the only district in our Region 9 area to earn the postsecondary distinction. Only 61 districts statewide (5.1%) earned this distinction.

Olney Elementary earned 5 of 6 possible distinctions.

Olney Junior High earned 6 of 7 possible distinctions.

Olney High School earned 5 of 7 possible distinctions.

Of the three schools in our region obtaining the “A” rating Olney ISD earned the highest percentage of possible distinctions. In raw total number of distinctions Olney ISD surpassed all 1A, 2A, 3A, or 4A district in Region 9.
