Olney Elementary is a Title 1 school serving approximately 350 students in grades Pre-K through fifth grade. Four sections of instruction are offered to Kindergarten through fifth grade classes providing an approximate 14 to 1 student-teacher ratio.
The school offers two computer labs, Dyslexia classes, English as a Second Language, and provides inclusion instruction for our special population students in the classroom with support from highly qualified paraprofessionals. Daily tutoring provided by teachers and a built-in intervention program are offered to students. Olney Elementary School provides a wonderful atmosphere for learning.
At Olney Elementary, our teachers don’t make the difference, they ARE the difference. The staff is proud of our school and its accomplishments. We are committed to creating an environment where students feel welcome, are appreciated as individuals and are challenged to do their best each day. We are grateful for the support of parents and our community and will continue to make student happiness and success our highest priorities.
