Spelling Homework Schedule
Monday: Write each word 5 times.
Tuesday: Write one sentence for each word (on notebook paper).
Wednesday: Write the spelling word and 3 rhyming words beside it. (example: cat - fat, mat,hat)
Thursday: Put words in alphabetical order.
Friday: Spelling test!
*Spelling homework due Tuesday-Friday mornings.
Conduct Folders
*Conduct folders (red folder) will be sent home on Thursdays. Please sign and return folder on Fridays.
Home Reading Folders
*Home Reading (yellow folder): Students are required to read 5 nights a week for 20 minutes each night. Record the student's reading on the calendar in this folder. The signed folders are due every Friday morning.
Read 5 nights = 100 daily grade
Read 4 nights= 80 daily grade
Read 3 nights= 60 daily grade
Read 2 nights= 40 daily grade
Read 1 night= 20 daily grade
Testing Schedule
* Spelling tests are given each Friday.
* Saxon Math tests are given each Friday.
SRA Reading tests are given each Friday.

1 Dura sharp or Fiskar Scissors (please label)
6 Plastic pocket folders with brads: 1- yellow, 1- purple, 1- red, 1- blue, 2- green
1 5"X8" clear plastic school box
4 Boxes of 24 crayons - Basic Primary colors (No JUMBO BOXES or 48 or 64 count)
1 Eraser - large (Yikes brand works well) - NO pencil top erasers
1 Box of 8 crayola markers (washable)- Large
1 Container of Clorox Wipes
1 Clipboard (standard size) - No plastic clipboards (they break easily)
1 Spiral notebook (one-subject, 120 pages, wide rule)
1 Highlighter
1 Large bottle of Elmer's glue
3 packages of wide rule notebook paper
2 boxes of Kleenex
$1.00 for computer earbuds
Please DO NOT label ANY of your child's supplies** (except scissors)
Please put student's name on all coats, jackets, sweater, lunch pails and backpacks.
