I have been employed with Olney ISD since 2008. In these last 15 years I taught high school Spanish and English.
I currently am the high school Campus 504 Coordinator, the District 504 Coordinator, and the District Testing Coordinator.
I have been in the education field for 30 years. I started my teaching career in 1992. I have taught at the college, high school and middle school levels in Kansas and Arkansas prior to moving to Texas.
I had the amazing experience of completing part of my student teaching on the island of Roatan in Las Islas de la Bahia (The Bay Islands) off the northern coast of Honduras in Central America. This is one of the most memorable and rewarding professional experiences I have ever had.
I have been married to my husband, David, since 1999. He is the pastor of the Olney Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We have one son, Jeb, who is a 2021 Olney High School graduate. We have lived in Olney since 2008 and cannot imagine living anywhere else!
