Voter Registration at Olney Community Library

The Olney Community Library is proud to serve as a designated voter registration site for our community. In accordance with the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), we provide free voter registration applications and assistance to anyone wishing to register or update their voter information.

How We Can Help

• Pick up a Texas voter registration application in English or Spanish

• Receive help filling out the form (upon request)

• Submit completed applications at the library—we will securely deliver them to the Young County Voter Registrar

• Access nonpartisan information about registering, updating your address, or checking your registration status

What You Can Expect

Our staff provides voter registration services in a friendly, professional, and completely nonpartisan manner. We do not promote any political party, candidate, or issue. Our goal is simply to help every eligible voter participate in the democratic process.

When to Register or Update

You may need to register or update your voter information if you:

• Recently moved

• Changed your name

• Have never registered to vote in Texas

• Want to ensure your information is current before an upcoming election

Voter registration forms are available:

• At the circulation desk anytime during open hours

• At special library events

• On our website via a link to the Texas Secretary of State’s voter registration resources
